"Cabo de Formentor"  is one of the most beautiful places on the island of Mallorca. It is located in the Pollença region, being one of the natural symbols of the island.

Its access is only possible by car, so if we are on vacation on the island and we do not have our own, we can rent a vehicle, since Mallorca has several offices for this service.

The route of about 18 kilometers runs along a road between the bay of Pollença and the spectacular high cliffs. This offers us a show that we should not miss. At the end of our tour we can access the beaches or visit the Lighthouse of the Four Winds.
Throughout the entire journey of the road until we reach the Cape, we can stop at the various viewpoints that are offered both on one side and on the other of the road. However, we must be careful when stopping, since the road is narrow and curves reduce visibility.

Among the viewpoints, we must highlight the Mirador de Sa Creueta, which is more than two hundred meters high and has impressive views from where you can see the islet of Colmer or the Atalaya de Albercuix.

Before reaching Cabo de Formentor we will pass through the beaches of Formentor where we can stop to enjoy a swim. The accesses are not easy, but the views are impressive and the waters are very clean. The best known beach in this area is Sa Creueta
